Top Project Award

On April 30, 2003, The Daily Reporter recognized the top 20 projects in Wisconsin in 2002. The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center (PAC) project as one of these Top Projects. We are proud to receive this recognition as River Valley Testing Corp provided Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Consulting and Testing, and Construction Materials Testing.

Also honored were Oscar J Boldt Construction, Zeidler Grinnell Partnership Architects, Town & Country Electric, and Klein-Dickert Company for their involvement on the project.

This award adds to the list of recognition RVT has received for involvement on the project. In July, 2002, the Western Builder magazine published an article highlighting RVT and detailing some of the lesser known details of the PAC construction. In September 2002, RVT made a presentation at the ASCE Fall Conference in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Our presentation entitled "Geotechnical Considerations for the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center" took a look at the very soft soil beneath the PAC and how Pressuremeter Testing kept the project moving forward and ultimately saved the project thousands of dollars.
